This piece is done by Haroshi. He uses recycled skateboards for all his art work. He creates different styles with the wood such as wooden mosaics, dots and pixels. This piece is called "Mad Skull" made in 2009. Its made out of thin pieces of recycled skateboards. I'm not sure on the size but it seems to big as big as a soccer ball. I chose this piece because of the style. It's almost has that feel of Chuck Close's paintings. I also like that the skull is sticking his tongue out, as if he is crazy!!

Awesome Colors

The photo was taken by Troy Holden from San Francisco, Ca. He is a photographer that takes pictures of what he says "The American's Dream Metropolis." He has been taking pictures since 2008. The title of this piece is called "I Feel So Down". The medium is paint spray on wall. The size I'm not sure but you can get the gist of it by looking at the photo. The mural uses the sad ghost figure as the focus point. I picked this piece because I like how the colors are dripping down like rain and how the ghost figure isn't in color. It's very nice to look at, hopefully one day i can visit it in person.

UK artist and musician James Cauty designed this piece for his exhibit called The Aquarium in London. Its a sculpture of a scene that looks like If Tom caught Jerry this would of happened. I like this piece because It shows how violent cartoon use to be and I've always thought that if Tom ever caught Jerry this would happen.

I found this on Stumble Upon. It's street art by Os GĂ©meos, its Portuguese for the twins. They started in 1987 in Brazil. Their work is mostly of yellow skinned characters. I like this one because its a really neat! I like how he is leaning on the wall as if he is coming through it or going into it.

Awesome Mural

While on the website Stumble upon, I happened to stumble upon this cool piece of work. I really like the music it has in the back ground. I also really like how the piece was put together. It's almost like the last project we did.

Created by Lee Misenheimer. I'm not sure where he is from but I'm guessing New York. This piece was created in either pencil or ball-point pen. He uses great detail and gets his inspiration from Japanese art. I like this piece because it has so much detail and I like how he is eating an ice cream even though he looks very creepy looking.

The Polymer Musings of Meredith Dittmar
Created by Meredith Dittmar. She lives in Portland, OR. She has an education in computer science and a career in interactive design. I'm not sure what the title is called but it is made out of polymer clay. In her other works she uses plexiglass, and paint spray. She also uses fiberglass for her bigger pieces. I'm also not to sure on what the size is but it seems pretty big. I picked this art piece because of the big smile on what seems to be a cat. It also looks very cartoony and the design in the back looks very detailed.
